Who We Are:
We are a group of volunteers in Kanpur who believe that “Respect in Death is a Human Right.” Whether the person was a beggar, accident victim, or found murdered—if they have no family, Samaaj Kalyaan Sewa Samiti becomes their family for the final journey.
Our Story:
It started when we saw how unclaimed bodies were treated badly. It broke our hearts. So, we decided to take responsibility. We work closely with the Kanpur Police and Government Hospitals. After the police complete their legal work (Post Mortem/Panchnama), we take the body for a respectful cremation.
Our Mission:
To ensure every dead body gets a proper farewell with religious rituals, regardless of their caste, religion, or gender.
